Fiji’s Young Football Stars Set to Shine in Inaugural McDonald’s Inter-District Championship!

The first-ever McDonald’s Inter-District Championship is set to commence, uniting 492 young footballers from various regions of Fiji in a significant event. The tournament will showcase teams from nine districts across four age categories: U-9, U-11, U-13, and U-15. The participating districts include Labasa, Dreketi, and Seaqaqa from the North; Rewa, Suva, and Navua from the South; and Ba, Lautoka, and Nadi from the West. This vibrant championship aims to develop young football talent throughout the nation and will take place at the Nasinu Muslim Primary & Secondary School Grounds in Nakasi. The event is scheduled for Friday, September 6, through Sunday, September 8. Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands & Mineral Resources, will serve as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
