The first-ever McDonald’s Inter-District Championship is set to kick off, uniting 492 young footballers from across Fiji for a significant competition. The tournament will showcase teams from nine districts and will involve four age categories: U-9, U-11, U-13, and U-15.
Participating districts include Labasa, Dreketi, and Seaqaqa from the North; Rewa, Suva, and Navua from the South; and Ba, Lautoka, and Nadi from the West. This thrilling championship aims to develop young football talent throughout the country and will take place at the Nasinu Muslim Primary & Secondary School Grounds in Nakasi.
The event is scheduled to run from Friday, September 6, to Sunday, September 8. Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands & Mineral Resources, will be present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
