The first-ever McDonald’s Inter-District Championship is about to commence, uniting 492 young football players from all over Fiji for an unprecedented competition.
This tournament will showcase teams from nine different districts, competing across four age categories: U-9, U-11, U-13, and U-15.
Participating districts include Labasa, Dreketi, and Seaqaqa from the northern region; Rewa, Suva, and Navua from the south; alongside Ba, Lautoka, and Nadi from the west.
This thrilling championship aims to foster young football talent nationwide and will take place at the Nasinu Muslim Primary & Secondary School Grounds in Nakasi.
The event is scheduled from Friday, September 6, to Sunday, September 8. Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands & Mineral Resources, will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony, bringing a significant honor to the occasion.
