Fiji’s Young Athletes Shine at Triple N Zone Championships!

Lelean Memorial School has emerged as the champion of the boys division at the 2025 Triple N Zone athletics competition, which concluded recently. The school’s remarkable performance included a total of 19 gold, 17 silver, and 10 bronze medals, amounting to 46 medals overall.

Following closely behind, Nakasi High School secured second place in the boys division with 15 gold, eight silver, and 11 bronze medals, while Sila Central High School came in third with seven gold, seven silver, and six bronze medals.

In the girls division, Adi Cakobau School (ACS) continued its dominance by achieving victory with an impressive tally of 31 gold, 26 silver, and 20 bronze medals, totaling 77 medals. Naitasiri Secondary School took the second position with six gold, five silver, and three bronze medals, while Wainimala Secondary School finished third with four gold, three silver, and four bronze medals.

This year’s competition showcased the exceptional talent and determination of young athletes, reinforcing the community spirit around sports in Fiji. The upcoming Fiji Finals, also known as the Coca-Cola Games, is scheduled for April 24-26 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, promising an exciting continuation of the competitive spirit that has marked this year’s athletics events.

The successful outcomes at the Triple N Zone athletics highlight the ongoing efforts in fostering athletic talent and sportsmanship among students.
