A total of 19,359 Year 8 students commenced their Fiji Eighth Year Examination yesterday. Acting Minister for Education Alitia Bainivalu shared her best wishes for the students on social media and encouraged parents to continue their support as their children undertake these exams.
“This is not just an assessment of your knowledge, but a testament to your hard work and dedication,” Ms. Bainivalu stated. She emphasized that the exam serves as a crucial milestone in their educational journey.
“Trust in your preparation, stay focused, and face the challenges ahead with resilience,” she added. The minister also called upon parents, guardians, and teachers to keep providing the encouragement needed to help students excel.
“Together, we must ensure that our young learners remain confident and determined.”
