Fiji’s Year 8 Students Gear Up for Crucial Exams: What You Need to Know!

Today, 19,359 Year 8 students are registered to take the Fiji Year Eight Examination at 717 centers across the country. Acting Minister for Education and Minister for Fisheries and Forests, Alitia Bainivalu, emphasized that this examination is not just a reflection of knowledge and skills, but also a demonstration of hard work and dedication.

Bainivalu acknowledged that preparing for exams can bring about a range of emotions, including excitement and anxiety. She encouraged students to trust their studies, reminding them that this examination is merely a step in their educational journey.

Additionally, the Assistant Minister for Education, Iliesa Vanawalu, urged students to have confidence in their abilities and to maintain a calm demeanor during the exam. He highlighted the importance of resilience and determination, encouraging Year 8 students to stay focused.

Both ministers called on parents, guardians, and teachers to offer vital support to help students concentrate during this important time.
