Nineteen thousand three hundred fifty-nine Year 8 students commenced their Fiji Eighth Year Examination yesterday. Acting Minister for Education Alitia Bainivalu shared her best wishes for the students on social media and encouraged parents to continue supporting their children during this examination period.
“This is not just an assessment of your knowledge, but a testament to your hard work and dedication,” Ms. Bainivalu stated. She emphasized that the exam serves as a stepping stone in their educational journey.
“Trust in your preparation, stay focused, and embrace the challenges ahead with resilience,” she advised. Additionally, she urged parents, guardians, and teachers to keep providing the necessary support to help students excel.
“Let us make sure our young learners remain confident and determined.”
