A total of 19,359 Year 8 students commenced their Fiji Eighth Year Examination yesterday. Acting Minister for Education Alitia Bainivalu took to social media to wish the students well and encouraged parents to continue their support as the students undertake their exams.
“This is not just an assessment of your knowledge, but a reflection of your hard work and dedication,” Ms. Bainivalu stated. She emphasized that the exam serves as a crucial stepping stone in their educational journey.
“Trust in your preparation, stay focused, and face the challenges ahead with resilience,” she added. The minister also called on parents, guardians, and teachers to maintain their support to help students excel.
“Let us ensure our young learners remain confident and determined,” she concluded.
