Fiji’s Year 8 Students Begin Examination Journey: A Minister’s Call to Action

A total of 19,359 Year 8 students commenced their Fiji Eighth Year Examination yesterday. Acting Minister for Education Alitia Bainivalu conveyed her encouraging messages to the students through social media and called on parents to support their children during this examination period.

“This is not merely an assessment of your knowledge, but a reflection of your hard work and commitment,” Ms. Bainivalu emphasized. “This exam is a crucial step in your educational journey. Trust in your preparation, maintain your focus, and face the challenges ahead with resilience.”

She also encouraged parents, guardians, and teachers to continue offering the support that will enable students to excel. “Let us ensure our young learners remain confident and steadfast in their efforts.”
