The provisional results for Fiji’s Year Eight Examination will be released on November 22. Students will have a 30-day period during which they can request a mark recount for $5 per subject or a remark for $25 per subject.

This year, a total of 18,968 students participated in the examination across 712 centers. The Education Ministry has reported a pass rate of 69% for 2024, marking an increase from 67% in 2023.

Students can find their results online at www.examresults.gov.fj by using their unique examination identification number along with their personal credentials. In case of any difficulties accessing the results, students are encouraged to visit their respective schools or District Education Offices starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow.

Education Minister Aseri Radrodro has extended his heartfelt congratulations to students, parents, guardians, teachers, school management committees, and all involved for their commitment throughout the educational process. The Ministry also urges parents, guardians, and teachers to provide guidance to students as they make important decisions about their academic and career futures.

This year’s improved pass rate is a positive sign of progress in the education system, showing that more students are meeting the challenges of their studies. As they prepare for their next steps, the support from families and educators will be crucial in helping them achieve their goals.
