The Ministry of Education has announced a notable improvement in the Fiji Eighth Year Examination results for 2024, achieving a pass rate of 69%, up from 67% in 2023. Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, revealed that the provisional results will be made available on November 22, 2024.
These results will remain provisional for a period of 30 days, allowing students the chance to request a mark recount for a fee of $5 per subject or a remark at a cost of $25 per subject. This flexibility ensures that students can verify their results if they believe there has been an error.
In total, 18,968 students participated in the examination, which took place across 712 centers throughout Fiji. Students can access their results online at www.examresults.gov.fj by using their unique examination identification numbers along with personal credentials.
This year’s positive trend in pass rates exemplifies the continuous efforts to enhance the quality of education in Fiji, providing hope and motivation for students as they move forward in their educational journeys. The sense of accomplishment and improvement in results can inspire students to continue striving for excellence in their studies.
