The provisional results for Fiji’s Year Eight Examination will be released tomorrow, November 22. These results will remain provisional for 30 days, allowing students the chance to request a mark recount for a fee of $5 per subject or a remark for $25 per subject.
This year, a total of 18,968 students took the examination across 712 centers, and the Ministry of Education has reported a pass rate of 69% for 2024, an increase from 67% in 2023.
Students can access their results online at www.examresults.gov.fj using their unique examination identification numbers and personal credentials. If there are issues with online access, students are encouraged to visit their schools or the District Education Office starting tomorrow at 8 a.m.
Education Minister Aseri Radrodro expressed his congratulations and gratitude to students, parents, guardians, teachers, school management committees, and all other stakeholders for their commitment throughout the educational process. The Ministry is also urging parents and teachers to support students in making informed decisions about their future academic and career options.
This year’s increase in the pass rate highlights the hard work and dedication of students and educators alike. As students prepare to take the next steps in their educational journeys, it’s an exciting time to reflect on their accomplishments and future opportunities.
