Almost 14,000 students, totaling around 13,975, are set to commence their Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) on November 12 at 177 examination centers across the country. This year’s examination has introduced three new locations: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in Suva, Nakorotubu Secondary School in Ra, and Muaira Methodist College in Lautoka Yasawa district, according to the Ministry of Education.

The FY12CE is scheduled to run from November 12 to November 22. Aseri Radrodro, the Minister for Education, has extended heartfelt wishes to the students, highlighting the importance of community support during this pivotal time.

As students prepare for their external examinations, Mr. Radrodro noted that this is more than just an assessment of their knowledge; it represents a significant turning point in their academic journey and a stepping stone toward their future goals. He encouraged students to trust in their preparation and approach each exam with confidence and focus, acknowledging the blend of excitement and challenges they may encounter.

Mr. Radrodro also stressed the vital role that parents, guardians, and communities play in bolstering students’ morale during this period. He advised students to prioritize self-care, ensuring they get sufficient rest and maintain a positive mindset as they tackle their exams.

This supportive message from leadership emphasizes the collective effort needed for students to succeed, fostering a sense of encouragement and community during an important academic milestone.

By creating an environment of support and confidence, students are better equipped to face their exams and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.
