Nearly 14,000 students across Fiji are set to commence the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) tomorrow, with exams taking place at 177 centers nationwide. This year marks the introduction of three new exam venues, including Ratu Simione Matanitobua in Suva, Nakorotubu Secondary School in Ra, and Muaira Methodist College in Lautoka Yasawa, as indicated by the Ministry of Education.
The FY12CE is scheduled from November 12 to 22. Aseri Radrodro, the Minister for Education, extended encouragement to the students, highlighting the importance of community support during this critical time.
“As you prepare for and approach your external examination, remember that this exam is a significant milestone. It reflects your dedication and persistence, serving as a stepping stone towards your future ambitions,” said Mr. Radrodro. He urged students to trust in their preparation and tackle each exam with confidence, recognizing that this period holds both excitement and challenges.
Furthermore, the Minister underscored the vital role that parents, guardians, and communities play in uplifting student morale. He advised students to prioritize self-care, ensure adequate rest, and maintain a positive mindset throughout the examination period.
As these students embark on this important journey, it is an opportune moment for everyone in the community to come together and provide the support needed to foster a nurturing environment for academic success.
In summary, with the start of the FY12CE, students are encouraged to believe in themselves and prepare to seize the opportunities that lie ahead. This examination represents not just an end, but a beginning of new paths and possibilities for their futures.
