The Water Authority of Fiji has announced the tender for the second phase of the Viria Water Project. This follows the project’s recent commissioning last month, which included the completion of significant construction work on the main gravity line. Residents in Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can anticipate an improved water supply over the next few months upon completion of the project’s second phase. Ro Filipe Tuisawau, the Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure, noted that the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant currently lacks the capacity to serve all these areas effectively.
