The Water Authority of Fiji has announced a tender for the second phase of the ‘Viria Water Project.’ This development follows the project’s operational launch last month, which included the completion of significant construction work on the main gravity line.

Residents in Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can look forward to improved water supply in the upcoming months, following the completion of the project’s second phase.

Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure Ro Filipe Tuisawau noted that the current capacity of the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant is insufficient to meet the needs of these areas.
