The Water Authority of Fiji has announced a tender for the second phase of the Viria Water Project. This development follows the project’s commencement last month, which included significant construction work such as the main gravity line. Residents of Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can look forward to an improved water supply in the coming months upon the completion of this second phase. Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure Ro Filipe Tuisawau highlighted that the capacity of the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant is currently insufficient to serve all these areas.
