The Water Authority of Fiji has announced the tender for the second phase of the Viria Water Project. This follows the project’s launch last month, which included the completion of significant construction work, such as the main gravity line.

Residents in Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can anticipate an improved water supply in the upcoming months with the completion of the second phase of the project. Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure Ro Filipe Tuisawau noted that the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant currently lacks the capacity to serve all these areas effectively.
