Fiji’s Water Disruption: What You Need to Know!

The Water Authority of Fiji is set to carry out planned connection work for a new DN900mm Gravity Main, linking the Waitolu Reservoir to the existing DN600mm DICL Rising Main at the Waila Water Treatment Plant. This work is scheduled for September 27 to September 29 and will cause temporary water interruptions for customers.

The areas affected will include those served by the Wainibuku Reservoir and its dependent reservoirs, impacting regions such as Tovata, Nakasi, Davuilevu, Lokia, Koronivia, as well as several neighborhoods in Nasinu and Flagstaff.

Customers are encouraged to store water in advance to prepare for these disruptions. The Water Authority will also provide water carting services during this period. For any inquiries, customers can reach the Water Authority at 3346777, through their mobile app, or via email.
