Fiji’s Water Authority Announces Upcoming Water Disruptions: What You Need to Know

The Water Authority of Fiji has announced scheduled connection work for a new DN900mm Gravity Main linking the Waitolu Reservoir to the existing DN600mm DICL Rising Main at the Waila Water Treatment Plant. This work is set to take place from Friday, September 27, to Sunday, September 29, and is expected to cause temporary water supply disruptions for customers.

The areas impacted include those served by the Wainibuku Reservoir and associated reservoirs, affecting parts of Tovata, Nakasi, Davuilevu, Lokia, Koronivia, and several neighborhoods in Nasinu and Flagstaff.

To prepare for the disruptions, customers are encouraged to store water in advance.
