The Water Authority of Fiji has announced that scheduled maintenance will take place next Tuesday to replace the DN300 valve along Naduru Road. At the same time, repair work on a leaking fire hydrant on Bau Road will lead to temporary water service disruptions.
Residents are encouraged to prepare in advance by storing sufficient water for the duration of the disruptions. The areas affected by these works include Naduru Road, Visama Feeder Road, Tumavia Village, Nauluvatu Village, Namuka Village, Vaturua Village, Naimalavau Village, Matainoco Village, Buretu Village, Daku Village, Naivakacau Village, Muana-i-Ra Village, Nasilai/Vadrai Village, and Kiuva Village.
