The Water Authority of Fiji has announced the tender for the second phase of the Viria Water Project. This follows the project’s commencement last month, following the significant completion of key construction, including the main gravity line.

Residents of Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can anticipate improved water supply in the upcoming months once the second phase of the project is finalized.

Ro Filipe Tuisawau, the Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure, stated that the current capacity of the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant is insufficient to meet the demand in these areas.
