The Water Authority of Fiji has announced the tender for the second phase of the Viria Water Project. This development follows the project’s activation last month, which marked the completion of significant construction work, including the installation of the main gravity line.
Residents in Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can look forward to an improved water supply in the upcoming months with the completion of the project’s second phase. Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure Ro Filipe Tuisawau highlighted that the current capacity of the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant is insufficient to meet the demands of these areas.
