The Water Authority of Fiji has announced the bidding process for the second phase of the Viria Water Project. This development follows the project’s commencement last month, marked by the completion of significant construction, including the primary gravity line.

Residents in Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can anticipate improved water supply in the upcoming months as the second phase of the project progresses. Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure Ro Filipe Tuisawau highlighted that the current capacity of the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant is insufficient to meet the demands of these communities.
