The Water Authority of Fiji has announced the tender for the second phase of the Viria Water Project. This initiative follows the project’s launch last month, which marked the completion of significant construction work, including the main gravity line. Residents in Tacirua, Tamavua, Lami, and Delainavesi can look forward to improved water supply in the upcoming months once this second phase is finalized. Minister for Public Works and Infrastructure, Ro Filipe Tuisawau, indicated that the current capacity of the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant is insufficient to meet the needs of all these areas.
