Team Fiji Va’a has achieved remarkable success at the ongoing 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau, securing additional medals on the second day of competition. This latest achievement brings their total medal count to five, following their strong performance on Day One when they earned two bronze and one silver medal.

In the V6 500m Women’s final, the Super Six ladies—comprising Sera Havea, Faith Khelan, Krystelle Whippy, Martha Samuela, Taleivini Kaimacuata, and Elenoa Vateitei—claimed the silver medal. Meanwhile, the V6 500m Open Mixed team, featuring Asesela Ravudi, Annette Naigulevu, Nitika Rouse, Abraham Fong, Iris Fisher, and Karel Ooms, achieved a bronze medal in their event.

With four silver and three bronze medals in total, Team Fiji currently occupies the eighth position in the overall medal tally. The determination and competitiveness displayed by the team highlight their resilience and commitment as they aim for even greater success as the competition progresses.

As the Games continue until July 9, hopes remain high for Team Fiji to trade their persistence into further medals, fostering pride for their nation on this international stage.
