The Fiji Under-19 netball team wrapped up a three-match series against Aotearoa Māori Netball, with the visiting team winning all three games. Despite the defeats, Fiji’s young players gained important experience and exposure during this developmental phase.
In the opening match, Aotearoa Māori asserted their dominance, achieving a commanding 74-29 victory. Fiji displayed signs of growth in the second match but ultimately lost 55-44 in a thrilling encounter. The final game culminated in Aotearoa Māori securing the series with a 70-30 win at the FNU Gymnasium.
Although the results were not favorable for Fiji, the competition served as an essential learning experience for the Under-19 team as they focus on their future development.
