Josateki Malani will lead the Fiji men’s under-19 cricket team as they set off for the ICC East Asia-Pacific World Cup Division One Qualifier in Japan. The team, consisting of 14 members, was officially announced by head coach Sanjiv Dubey. Confidence is high as the squad prepares to compete against Japan and Papua New Guinea for a coveted spot at the ICC U19 World Cup set to take place in Zimbabwe and Nigeria.
The full roster includes: Josateki Malani (captain), Moceidaveta Manara, Sefanaia Matai, Meli Vakaloloma, Manav Narayan, Waisale Bale, Joeli Qalo Ki Moala, Peni Mawi, Cakacaka Yacokilodoni, Jone Vakatawa, Maika Kamikamica, Jonacani Tagilala, Kitioni Keperieli, and Temo Vakaloloma. Four additional players—Jone Kaufuti, Sukabula Railala, Ropate Tamani, and Tuyawa Veitacini—will serve as reserves.
