Fiji’s U-16 Junior Kulas Set for Pool Showdown Against Samoa!

Fiji’s U-16 Junior Kulas head coach, Marika Rodu, emphasized the team’s objective to secure the top position in their group as they prepare for a crucial match against Samoa in the OFC U-16 Women’s Championships. Currently, Fiji has one draw and one victory, accumulating 4 points, trailing Samoa, which has two wins and a total of 6 points.

“The girls fought hard to keep our chances alive for topping the pool. Going forward, it’s essential for us to score and win against Samoa,” Rodu stated following their recent match against the Cook Islands.

Rodu reflected on the lessons learned from their game against Tonga, indicating that adjustments were made, which led to a slight improvement in performance. “We want to continue developing game by game,” she added.

Fiji is set to face Samoa on Saturday at 3 PM at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
