The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Services (TSLS) has officially launched its online application portal for students aspiring to secure Fiji Government scholarships for the first semester of 2026. This initiative provides a streamlined process for new applicants looking to further their education.
Students can now register and create an account on the dedicated TSLS application website. In this portal, applicants are required to fill in their personal details, select their desired program and tertiary institution, and provide their banking or mobile wallet information. Additionally, they must upload proof of their highest educational qualifications and income details, if applicable.
Year 12 and 13 students from 2025 are particularly encouraged to start their registration process while they await their examination results. It is crucial for applicants to obtain a final study offer letter from their chosen tertiary institution as soon as their results are released before submitting their complete applications. TSLS has made it clear that provisional offer letters will not be accepted, ensuring a thorough selection process.
Once an application is submitted, it will go into processing, where it will be evaluated against established eligibility criteria. Applicants will receive updates regarding their application status via the email address provided during registration.
To assist prospective students, TSLS has also published the 2026 Scholarship Policies Handbook, which is accessible on its official website and social media platforms. A step-by-step video guide is set to be uploaded soon to provide additional support for applicants. For those needing further assistance, TSLS encourages visits to any of its offices, where self-service kiosks are available.
This initiative by TSLS not only promotes educational advancement in Fiji but also offers students a clear pathway to accessing financial support for their studies, thus opening doors to future opportunities.
