Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism Viliame Gavoka has expressed concerns regarding the presence of UK adult film actresses Bonnie Blue and Anne Knight in Fiji, asserting that they may negatively impact the country’s reputation as a tourist destination. In a recent statement, Gavoka highlighted that he has received updates about Bonnie Blue’s reported arrival in Fiji, alongside her colleague Annie Knight. He referred to alarming reports concerning their intentions to provide inappropriate favors to young men, particularly those on school break.

Gavoka emphasized that his ministry is coordinating with relevant authorities to address the situation. He affirmed that the Ministry of Tourism is prepared to support any actions taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration to revoke the visas of the actresses, regardless of whether they have already arrived in the country.

This situation underscores the ongoing efforts by Fijian authorities to maintain a family-friendly image for their tourism sector. By proactively managing potential risks associated with visitors, the government aims to preserve Fiji’s appeal to a diverse range of travelers.

In a world increasingly focused on aligning tourism practices with community values, Fiji’s stance reflects a commitment to protecting its cultural integrity. Through collaborative efforts, there is potential for the government to enhance its proactive measures to foster a safer environment for all tourists while ensuring that the beautiful islands remain a welcoming place for families and visitors alike.
