The launch of a $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project is set to reshape the tourism scene in the capital city, according to Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. He emphasized that this investment marks a significant advancement for the nation’s capital.
“This project showcases Fiji’s growing status as an attractive investment destination and will certainly enhance our economy, generate employment opportunities, and position Suva as a leading choice for both tourists and business visitors,” he stated.
Rabuka encouraged others to take inspiration from such investments, highlighting their importance for the country’s future development.
Scheduled for completion in August 2025, the new hotel will offer 178 rooms, equipped with high-quality amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar. This marks just the beginning, with plans for a waterfront retail space that will further boost Suva’s appeal.
