Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka announced the launch of a $75 million Hilton Garden Inn project which is expected to significantly enhance the tourism sector in the city. He noted that this investment marks an important advancement for the capital city.

“This project highlights Fiji’s rising status as a leading investment destination, and it is certain to boost our economy, generate employment, and position Suva as a prime location for both tourists and business visitors,” Rabuka stated.

He urged others to take inspiration from such investments, emphasizing their importance for the country’s future development. Scheduled for completion in August 2025, the hotel will feature 178 rooms along with premium amenities like a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, and bar.

This development is just the initial phase, with plans for a waterfront retail project to follow, aimed at further increasing Suva’s attractiveness.
