Francis Lee, the general manager of Shangri-La Yanuca Island Resort, expressed pride in the resort’s progress this year, citing a substantial recovery since the COVID-19 pandemic. “This year has been better than the past two years as we continue to recover from the pandemic,” he remarked, crediting the hard work of his sales and marketing teams for bringing guests from Australia, New Zealand, and beyond to Fiji. He added, “We are not just creating memorable experiences for our guests but also making a positive impact on the community.”
Mr. Lee also reflected on the resort’s rich history, noting its 57 years of establishment as the oldest and largest resort in Fiji, emphasizing the commitment to continuous improvement in meeting guests’ needs. In a demonstration of its dedication to community support, the resort donated $3,500 to the Sigatoka Special School.
