The Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources has appointed six new members to the Surveyors Registration Board in a move aimed at enhancing the board’s effectiveness and representation. The new board consists of three private sector members and two government representatives, ensuring a balanced approach to guiding the surveying profession in Fiji.
The newly appointed members include:
– Asakaia Tabua – chairperson/registrar
– Rod Jepsen – board member
– Mike Lenz – board member
– Paserio Samisoni – board member
– William Robert – board member
– Avitereki Tukuwasa – board secretary
The Surveyors Registration Board plays a vital role in registering qualified surveyors, promoting ethical standards, handling public complaints, and ensuring transparency within the profession.
