This week, the Ministry of Sugar announced that a total of 61 sugar cane farmers in Fiji have received vital government assistance. Among them, 48 farmers were granted funds to initiate their sugarcane farming operations, while 13 farmers received support for renewing their land leases.

The Coalition Government reiterated its commitment to supporting Fiji’s sugarcane farmers, emphasizing that this assistance represents a significant investment in the future of the nation’s sugar industry.
