Nearly 14,000 students in Fiji are set to begin their Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) tomorrow, with a total of 13,975 candidates registered to take the exam at 177 centers across the country. Among these centers are three new venues: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in the Suva district, Nakorotubu Secondary School in the Ra district, and Muaira Methodist College in the Lautoka Yasawa district, as announced by the Ministry of Education.

The FY12CE examinations will take place from November 12 to 22. Education Minister Aseri Radrodro has extended his best wishes to all students, underscoring the importance of community support during this critical time. He emphasized that this examination represents a significant milestone, reflecting the students’ steadfast determination and perseverance, while also serving as a foundation for their future goals.

“Trust in the preparation you have undertaken and approach each exam paper with confidence and focus. I understand this can be both an exciting and challenging period,” Mr. Radrodro advised the students. He also highlighted the vital role parents, guardians, and the wider community play in boosting student morale. Furthermore, he urged students to prioritize self-care, ensuring they get adequate rest and maintain a positive mindset throughout the exam period.

As students embark on this important journey, their hard work and the support from their families and communities promise to help them navigate the challenges ahead successfully.

In summary, this examination period not only tests the students’ academic preparedness but also enhances their resilience and community bonding. With a solid support system, these young individuals are poised to turn this challenge into an opportunity for growth and achievement.
