Fiji Men’s 7s captain Jerry Tuwai stated that the performance displayed by both teams at the 2024 Paris Olympics could inspire the nation and motivate youth aspiring to represent Fiji. Tuwai acknowledged that while the outcome did not meet the expectations of many, he believes the team possesses the resilience to rise again. He expressed gratitude to God for guidance during their preparations for the Paris campaign and for their safe return. He extended thanks to coaches, management, teammates, and families for their unwavering support in the pursuit of Olympic glory.
