Rugby league enthusiasts are gearing up for an exhilarating weekend as the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League National Quarter-finals are set to unfold at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. FSSRL President Naisa Toko expressed the growing excitement for these crucial matches, highlighting the competitive spirit that will showcase the top schools in the country.

Following the quarter-finals, the competition will transition to Garvey Park in Tavua for the semi-finals, ultimately returning to Nadi for the finals. “We are all so very excited for the quarter-finals this weekend, and we urge students, parents, and alumni to come out in numbers to support your teams,” Toko said.

The matches promise to deliver exciting encounters across various age groups. In the under-15 grade, Vashist Muni Sea Eagles will take on Lautoka Central Storm, while Sigatoka Valley Cowboys will face Marist Storm. Additional matchups include MGM Dragons against Drasa Rams and Nasinu Panthers battling Sigatoka Methodist Saints.

In the under-17 category, spectators can look forward to Natasiri Warriors competing against Ba Pro Dragons, with Lelean Bati facing Sigatoka Valley Cowboys. Nasinu Panthers will meet Ra Roosters, and Marist Storms will challenge Ba Methodist Saints.

For the under-19 grade, Naitasiri Warriors are pitted against Nasikawa Raiders, while RKS Eels will play Nadroga Navosa Titans, alongside Nasinu Panthers meeting Ba Pro Dragons.

These matches foster not only sportsmanship but also community engagement, offering a platform for young athletes to shine and develop into future stars of wrestling.
