A significant fire at the Rarawai Mill in Fiji has caused extensive damage, with repair costs expected to exceed $10 million, according to Sugar Minister Charan Jeath Singh. The blaze, which erupted in the mill’s powerhouse, prompted a swift response from the Fiji Sugar Corporation (FSC) and the National Fire Authority. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and all employees were safely evacuated during the incident.
