Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism Viliame Gavoka emphasized that Fiji’s swift and effective recovery from natural disasters is crucial not only for the tourism sector but also for the wellbeing of countless individuals who depend on it. While addressing participants at the Disaster Risk Resilience Scorecard Workshop targeting Small Island Developing States, he underscored that resilience is integral to all facets of life, enhancing both familial wellbeing and the sustainability of tourism.
