On day one of the tournament, Canada’s Masters Teams made a solid impression. The Masters 40 team, coached by Mohammed Imtiaz, achieved a convincing 3-0 victory against the USA. Additionally, the defending champions, Canada Legends 50, showcased their prowess with striker Lewis Oladuntoye scoring an impressive four goals against Fiji.
The president of FANCA, Mohammed Yusuf, noted that the tournament commenced successfully and signaled another promising sporting event on the horizon.
