Today, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, the President of Fiji, received a visit from members of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union (FSSRU) at the State House.
The delegation presented a traditional sevusevu and invited President Katonivere to officiate at the FSSRU’s 85th Deans competition celebration, which will take place tomorrow at the HFC Stadium.
The President welcomed the delegation and accepted their invitation, expressing his deep gratitude for the FSSRU’s dedication to promoting rugby at the elementary and secondary education levels.
He assured the members of his continued support and encouraged them to enhance awareness of rugby’s development in rural areas while highlighting the importance of understanding the FSSRU’s regulations.
