Today, His Excellency Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, the President of Fiji, welcomed members of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union (FSSRU) for a courtesy visit at the State House.
The delegation presented a sevusevu and extended an invitation for the President to preside over the FSSRU’s 85th Deans competition celebration, scheduled for tomorrow at the HFC Stadium.
President Katonivere warmly received the delegation and accepted their invitation. He expressed his deep appreciation for the FSSRU’s dedication and hard work in promoting rugby within primary and secondary education.
He assured them of his continued support and encouraged the members to elevate awareness of rugby’s development in the outer islands, highlighting the importance of understanding the FSSRU’s regulations in more detail.
