Today, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, the President of Fiji, welcomed a delegation from the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union (FSSRU) at the State House.
During the visit, the FSSRU members presented the President with a sevusevu, formally inviting him to officiate at the FSSRU’s 85th Deans competition celebration, which is set to take place at the HFC Stadium tomorrow.
President Katonivere warmly received the delegation and accepted their invitation, expressing his deep gratitude to the FSSRU for their dedication and efforts in promoting rugby within primary and secondary education.
He assured the members of his ongoing support and encouraged them to enhance awareness of rugby’s development in remote islands. The President also highlighted the importance of understanding the FSSRU’s regulations.
