Fiji’s PM Invites China’s Xi Jinping: A Celebration of Ties Ahead!

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has extended an invitation to Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Fiji next year, marking what he described as a “golden milestone relationship” between the two nations. During their meeting in Beijing, Rabuka emphasized the significance of the partnership, which has thrived for over 49 years. He noted that the ties between Fiji and China have remained strong throughout the years. President Xi acknowledged that China and Fiji exemplify the principles of equality and cooperative relations between large and small nations. He also expressed the desire to create a China-Fiji community built on shared futures. The two leaders previously convened in San Francisco last November.
