The Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort is nearing the completion of its newly renovated resort-view courtyard rooms, which are expected to be ready in just two weeks. Area Director of Sales & Marketing, Ben Johnson, noted that the five-star resort underwent a multi-million dollar transformation last year, now emerging as a contemporary beachfront destination that combines luxurious amenities with the warmth of Fijian hospitality.
Located on the ground floor of the Malevu wings, these new spacious rooms are designed with families in mind, featuring direct access to a private courtyard and expansive interiors of 47 square meters, complemented by a 19 square-meter private outdoor space. Mr. Johnson highlighted that approximately 75% of guests frequenting the resort are families, showcasing the family-friendly atmosphere that these accommodations seek to enhance. The collection features 19 rooms, including six interconnecting options that can be combined to form a two-bedroom suite with direct courtyard access.
In addition to the courtyard rooms, the resort has unveiled a refurbished plantation pool bure, intended primarily for couples and honeymooners. These exclusive accommodations are characterized by traditional Fijian elements such as vaulted tapa ceilings and thatched roofs, providing a blend of island charm and modern elegance. Each of the seven 50 square meter bures includes a private landscaped pool and can comfortably house up to two adults and two children, or three adults.
Moreover, the resort plans to introduce new family-friendly features, including a water slide at the main pool and an inflatable floating playground, enhancing the overall experience for all ages.
