Melania Tora of Miss Tents & Awning PTE Limited has been named ‘Queen’ for the 2024 Miss Hibiscus Festival. During her crowning ceremony, Tora expressed her commitment to using her platform to benefit the Fijian community.
The 24-year-old expressed gratitude to her family for their support throughout the year and acknowledged her sponsors, Tents & Awnings Limited. Tora is currently pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at the University of the South Pacific, having graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts and Psychology from Deakin University in Victoria, Australia. She also holds a Diploma in Arts and Psychology from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her academic achievements and enthusiasm for psychology are guiding her toward a career as a clinical psychologist.
In addition, Pepe Malani, representing Miss Fiji Fashion Week, was awarded the second runner-up title, while Miss Island Accommodation, Martina Sigrah, claimed the first runner-up title.
