Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has announced that it will unveil its new ballroom and conference center, covering an impressive area of 16,576 square meters, making it the largest venue of its kind in Fiji. These facilities are set to officially open on March 1, 2025.

General Manager Shaun Parsons expressed enthusiasm about the new additions, stating, “It’s been a long time coming, but our new ballroom and event space sets a new standard for MICE venues in the Pacific, so the wait has been worth it.” He mentioned that there has already been significant interest from international businesses seeking venues for off-site events and conferences.

Parsons highlighted that few locations can accommodate large-scale events, and the addition of 10 restaurants and bars, paired with suites featuring direct pool access, contributes to the excitement surrounding the new offerings.

In addition to the ballroom and conference center, Crowne Plaza Fiji is also set to introduce the Urban Sugar beach club, which will provide guests with opportunities to relax and partake in a variety of entertainment options.

This development is a positive step for Fiji’s tourism and hospitality industry, as it positions the nation as a competitive destination for large business events and gatherings, ultimately boosting the local economy.

The anticipation surrounding the new facilities underscores a commitment to enhancing Fiji’s appeal for both leisure and business travelers, which bodes well for the region’s recovery and growth in the coming years.
