Fiji’s New Anti-Corruption Chief Under Investigation: What’s Next?

Suva Lawyer and Electoral Commissioner Chairperson Barbara Malimali has been appointed as the new Commissioner of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC). This appointment has been confirmed by FICAC. Additionally, the commission announced that a search warrant was executed against Malimali, resulting in a search at the Electoral Commission’s Office in Suva.
